At Reata Ranches our focus is the personal
relationships we share with our
customers and the individualized care of their livestock. We can
develop feed programs for all types of cattle; we are not locked into high
intensity ‘formula’ feeding program.
At Reata, every lot has its own special characteristics and are
matched with a ration to maximize their performance and meet the needs of
their owners. Sam and Toni Rudnick are the
owner-operators of Reata Ranches and represent many years in the
industry. Sam is strictly a hands-on
manager—the ‘buck’ will always stop with him! Sam can market your cattle
through several packers in the Pacific Northwest as well as on video and
Internet livestock markets. Our office can facilitate any type of
age/source verified tracking program or data collection. We monitor all feed
delivery and ration mixing through on-board computers and scales on each feed
truck that are data-linked to our office system. The welfare of your cattle is our first
concern, followed by their profitability. To ensure these goals we source our
commodities from Northwest suppliers with whom we have long standing
relationships, always with an eye toward value whether we are creating a
growth or a finish ration. We utilize Performix Nutrition plus outside
consulting nutritionists to guarantee that we provide the best nutrition for
the value. Our veterinary team is hands-on, local and works directly
with other consulting vets throughout the feeding industry. We believe in genuine, honest relationships
with our customers and we think that this earnestness of approach allows us
to provide you and your cattle with excellent
